Practical tips

Having visited foreign harbours around, we know it will be of some help and guidance to know where to get necessities like:

• Gasoline and diesel at Marineservice at Lindøye (south of Aker Brygge, 22115204), or at Kongen (southwest and around the tip of Filipstad, past Color Line terminal. (22 55 03 64)
• Propan may be a problem due to various fittings, but Statoil in Vika, a 300-meter stroll from here- towards north, may be helpful. The address is Munkedamsveien (22 83 35 35).
• Equipment for the boat can be bought at Skillebekk Farvehandel in Munkedamsveien (23131313) or at SWANG (avialable by boat!) at Lysaker Brygge 35 (67110810)
  
• Pharmacy is located by the entrace to the parking area here at Aker Brygge
• The famous Wine Monopoly is located in Vika, 100 meters from Aker Brygge towards north.
• Groceries and food in general you can buy at ICA gourmet here at Aker Brygge. Next door you will find the paper stand and magazine shop Narvesen - across Bryggetorvet some 50m from the marina- to the Northwest.
• Sail maker Hovdan can do your broken sails and canvas. Give sail maker Memet a call at 22410011.
• Bryggedrift / Security, is in charge of safety and maintenance in general at Aker Brygge. You'll get them at 23238700.
• Harbour police has phone number 22 70 58 00
• Oslo Harbour Control has phone 23 49 26 00.
• Fax, telephone service and e-mail are services we'll be glad to provide you at the harbour office.
• Charts can be purchased at Nautisk Forlag in Dronningens gate 8B. They have all you need! (22 00 85 00).
• Doctor is at service at Aker Brygge, in Beddingen 12 (22 83 05 22) Omnia Medisinske Senter.
• Post office is located in Haakon VII's gate in Vika.
• DNB (bank) has a branch in the Town Hall End of Aker Brygge. Standen 1 at the roundabout.
• Do you need some assistance with the boat? Talk to Knut on cell phone 90 84 73 37 or Erling at 90 78 92 88. They are in charge of the harbour and docking, or Claus who's the clever jack of all technical trades. You reach him on 95 08 58 58.
• Most of the day you will find one of them at the harbour office.
